Hi!
I'm Elli.

At Sagewood Learning, my work is focused on a simple but often overlooked need:

Helping children build the skills that make learning and life work. After more than a decade in education, along with experience as a reading and math tutor for neurodiverse students in Title I schools, and a background in counseling, one thing became clear: many capable students struggle, not because they can’t learn, but because they haven’t been supported in how to learn, regulate, or connect within the context of their neurodiversity.

Sagewood Learning was created to focus on exactly that.

Through small-group coaching, students build:

  • executive functioning skills like focus, organization, and follow-through

  • deeper awareness of nervous system regulation and emotional acuity

  • social skills and confidence in structured peer interactions

This is a structured, supportive environment where students can practice these skills in real time: with guidance, consistency, and space to grow.

As both an educator and a parent of neurodiverse children, I understand how important it is to find the right kind of affordable support: support that is individualized, respectful, and grounded in how each child actually experiences the world.

Sagewood Learning focuses on what matters most and helps children develop the skills they need to navigate school, relationships, and everyday life with greater confidence and independence.
